As I sit here in my office late on a Friday night in the muggy heat of the first heatwave of the year, I’m struggling to find anything profound and/or meaningful to post for this inaugural blog entry.
At this point in time, we’re heading towards the (hopefully) final few weeks of COVID lockdown number 3 and it’s looking like we might actually get granted our freedom soon. It’ll be good to be able to get out and mingle with more than a handful of carefully selected friends again – although looking around on the occasions when I have been out, it looks as though most of the UK population is already out and partying.
Still …
So, what’s the expectation (from me) as to what this site is going to contain?
Well, the intention is to simply fill it up with occasional thoughts and musings on pretty much anything that takes my fancy really. If anyone actually reads the drivel I write, then nice. If not, no worries there. Hopefully, I’ll write something interesting to someone when I can get back to traveling the globe on two wheels, or if I come across some interesting technology tidbits or the like. And one never knows, I may just wind up penning something distinctly profound (although I wouldn’t get your hopes up on that score).
For now, however, I’ll simply sign off and say Thankyou and Good Night.
